What this store is
Chug:VID Store is a storefront for physical table-tent products. It does not provide video streaming or stream-viewing features. This draft describes the store application only; it is not a policy for every Chug:VID service.
Information entered or generated in the store
When a buyer checks out, the store collects the billing and shipping details shown on its form, including names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and a required shipping store number. A company name and second address line may also be entered. The order records the products, quantities, and prices associated with that purchase. The store also uses a server-side session to keep a shopping cart available.
Payment is started through Stripe Checkout when the required production configuration is present. The store records order information needed by its checkout and order workflow. The store does not currently provide customer accounts, calculate tax, synchronize refunds, track shipments, or send order confirmation emails.
Use and access
The details entered at checkout are used by the application to create and process an order and to support order administration. Authorized store administrators can view order and address details in the admin area. Payment processing is handled through Stripe Checkout; consult Stripe's own materials for information about its services.
The store does not currently include an analytics consent interface. See Cookies for the session cookie and current cookie choices. This draft does not specify how long order or session information is kept. Retention, access, deletion, and other privacy practices need to be reviewed and documented before launch.
