Payments

DRAFT — NOT LEGALLY APPROVED. This original store draft needs legal and payments review before it is published or relied on.

Current checkout

Prices are displayed and submitted in USD. Shipping cost is currently free for the two seeded products. The store does not currently calculate tax. Checkout uses Stripe Checkout when the required production secrets are configured; without them, payment checkout is unavailable.

The store's signed Stripe webhook handles completed and expired checkout sessions for its order workflow. The app does not currently synchronize refunds or send order confirmation emails. A browser return to the store by itself should not be treated as confirmation of an order's final status.

Payment provider

Stripe processes the payment step. Its own terms and privacy information may apply to activity on Stripe; this draft does not restate or replace them. Payment behavior depends on production configuration and should be tested before the store accepts live orders.

This page is an implementation summary, not a promise of payment authorization, settlement timing, refund outcome, tax treatment, or other payment result. Those customer-facing terms require review and approval before publication.
